However, I think Magic Johnson is really overlooked when talking about overall best players ever. People talk about Jason Kidd as a point guard, or lately Rondo, or Steve Nash but Magic's numbers crush all of them overall and he only played 13 seasons to Kidd's 19. I tend to think of him as the Mario Lemieux of basketball. However, it's very hard to leave out players like Larry Bird, Oscar Robertson (most triple doubles ever), Abdul Jabbar, Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain. Some of them are old enough to have dominated the league in their time, but the comparison is hard because it's such a different game as of the late 70's early 80's. Also who makes up the most well-rounded? Should you do this positionally? It's really hard to compare a point-guard to a center (assists/steals vs blocks/rebounds?). There are some fantastic rebounders, some great shooters, some great defensive players and some fantastic passers, that I'm not so sure would make a well-rounded list.

I would hope that other Dads could step in and help or show new dads how do this.
